All-round Prosperity can only come through sustainable flow of Water & Electricity

Keeping in mind the available Natural Resources of India i.e. it’s arable land, livestock, water resources and workforce; by 1994 only, Scientists, Engineers, Environmentalists, Educationists & the policy makers of India had planned important projects for the sustainable flow of Water and Electricity. India would have been fully developed and prosperous if these projects could get completed within the stipulated time frame, like- in China & other developed countries.

For e.g. if two off-grid Small Modular Reactors of 500 MW each are set up in Morbi, then the requirement of Electrical & Thermal Energy of all the industries here would be fulfilled in a sustainable and reliable manner. In future as the Industries grow here, more of such atomic power plants can be set up. These Plants are just like beautiful “Malls” and can be set up in the minimum space right in the centre of the city. They do not pose any hazard/security threat to anyone and India is very competent and ready for this. If we think to fulfill the same demand of Morbi by a Solar Power Plant then, at least 4000 MW capacity Solar Power Plant would have to be set up and it would require more than 1000 sq km of un-inhabited land which is clearly not feasible in any case. Though there are challenges in setting up Atomic Power Plants in India too but situations in Morbi seem very favorable.

First challenge: The concerned business lobbies – Due to grassroots level public awareness programs and efforts of “Parmanu Saheli in Kudankulam Tamil Nadu, the Ambani group could get the business contract to set up a 1000 MW Atomic Power Plant in Kudankulam in Tamil Nadu in the year 2018. It is clear that the Ambani group only will take up the job of setting up two units of small modular reactors of 500 MW each in Morbi if planned. The current per capita power capacity of India is 1100 units, whereas for China it is up to 5000 units, for Japan, France, Russia, Germany and America it ranges from 8000 unit to 13000 units. According to Power Generation Plan, India is to use its resources as per their importance & limitations to reach the production average of 5000 units per person per year. The average usage of one unit gives an output of Rs 100. So even if the Indian government has to give subsidy for the Power Production by competing Thermal and Solar Plants of Adani’s group then too it will be a matter of Net profit for the actual and sustainable development of the Country. Hence, there is no such first challenge of “Business Lobbies” in Morbi.

In the year 2015 Japan & India had signed an agreement for the civil use of Nuclear Energy in power generation. During the meeting with the CEO of Ambani group in Gandhinagar we came to know that due to the lack of conducive environment among the Top-to-Bottom public in context of the Nuclear power plants in India, Ambani group is less interested in participating in the Indian Nuclear power program, though the Group is very ambitious about the possibility.

Second challenge: Anti-development Activities.

Third challenge: Political Intention.

Parmanu Saheli” is capable of establishing the required conducive environment by her strategic grass root level public awareness activities. Haryana, Kudankulam & Banswara sites are perfect examples of her success.

For the third challenge, if the regional public, industrialists and the related business lobbies are all in favorable situation, then it is also clear that the political intention will definitely be in favor of these Atomic Power Plants.

Thus If the environment become favorable, India is prepared to set up Small Modular Reactors of 500 MW each in each of its 500 districts for sustainable supply of base load power. If Morbi becomes successful in setting up of two units of 500 MW each then the Ambani group would be able to set up 500 units of Small Modular Reactors in India. This would clearly facilitate reliable & sustainable Development in India. Crores of people would get direct/indirect livelihoods. According to Solar Power Plant Projects– the 80000 km long canals are to be constructed under Narmada Sarovar Project in Gujarat and 30000 km long canals under the five projects of water distribution in Rajasthan. Solar Power Plants would have to be set up over these canals. This has 3 benefits:

First- Water could be lifted to the fields from these canals directly; secondly - there would be lesser vaporization of water from these canals; thirdly- no separate land would be required to set up these Power Plants and lakhs of families would get livelihood and employment during installation, operation, protection and maintenance of these plants. These competitive projects if implemented in time can truly fulfill the basic essential needs like- Water and Power for business point of view and thus can make India prosperous and develop in real sense. The largest democracy India with 84 different SANGATHAN of different Ideologies and principals can also be a supreme economy. Well developed countries, like- China, Japan, Germany, France, Britain, Russia and America etc. are the strong examples for the Fact. Parmanu Saheli has really dedicated her life to generate conducive environment in context of the mix Power Production program of average 5000 unit per person/ per year of India and to save Rajasthan from becoming a desert, which means faster implementation of the five projects related to Water distribution in Rajasthan state. “For this Parmanu Saheli has chosen the path of Public Awareness for all. She completely believes in the fact that the Democratic India will slowly be aware and tread the path of Real and Sustainable development”.
